The Socio-Economic Profile (SEP) of Davao del Norte contains the essential information that will best describe the province. Such information includes the outline on the recent physical, social, economic and infrastructure condition. We have also included some projections in this profile.

This 2006 Edition of Socio-Economic Profile, prepared by the Provincial Planning and Development Office is conceived to serve the data needs and information requirements of government workers, policy makers, planners, developers and government administrators in formulating plans, programs and projects that focus not only on realizing socio-economic growth but will also be responsive to the needs of our constituents. The SEP endeavors to present some information on both tapped and untapped resources available in the province.

We look forward to this document as your aid in formulating documents and studies that will maximize the proper utilization of our natural wealth to achieve sustainable development.

In this light, it is with great pride and honor that I share with you this document.
